I’m Grant Maniér (maun-yay), also known as Jigsaw Grant, renowned for my unique style of meticulously peeling apart jigsaw puzzles one piece at a time. I have garnered numerous honors and accolades for my award-winning Eco-art. I am deeply committed to the principles of reducing, reusing, and recycling materials in order to create captivating pieces of Eco-Impressionism art. Each artwork is meticulously crafted using thousands of cut or torn pieces of recycled materials, such as wallpaper, magazines, jewelry, calendars, posters, puzzles, among others.
With every creation, I aim to transform discarded items into something both visually stunning and meaningful. Through my art, I strive to convey the message that even the smallest actions can make a difference in preserving our planet for future generations.
My passion for tearing and cutting paper has become my form of self-expression and healing. I have embraced and thrived living with autism, triumphed over cancer, and devoted my life to creating art that promotes environmental responsibility. Throughout the past decade, my journey has inspired numerous individuals and families, demonstrating that remarkable achievements are attainable regardless of neurodiversity and despite health challenges.
In addition to my art, I am an award-winning illustrator for the children’s book series, “GRANT the Jigsaw Giraffe and Friends.” These books provide delightful and heartfelt stories that revolve around animals with differences, emphasizing their unique talents, courage, and the power of mentorship.
I’m passionate about educational programs that combine art and literacy to make our world greener, more sustainable, and Eco-friendly. By merging art and reading, we can inspire creativity and raise awareness about protecting the environment and creating a better future for people and nature.
